This screencast will show you how to take the HTML form code Constant Contact gives you to both customize and simplify it using Freeway.

In this screencast you’ll learn how to take the HTML form code that is generated by Constant Contact, the premier email marketing service, to then customize and simplify it for use in Freeway. By the end of this screencast you’ll have a better understanding of how Constant Contact works, how to implement it into your website, and what control you have over it. Throughout the screencast I highlight key terms to look for in the generated code and how to translate that into the Freeway interface. We’ll be using a real active Constant Contact account to do this and by the end you’ll have a working form for your account that will look as if it’s part of your website, not just tossed in there, giving you the edge over your competitors.

Here is a complete list of topics covered:

  • What Constant Contact is
  • What the interface of an actual Constant Contact member looks like
  • How Constant Contact works and interacts with your website
  • What control you have in Constant Contact
  • Where to go to generate the HTML form code
  • How to interpret what the large amount of code means
  • Which key areas of the generated code to look for
  • How to translate those key areas in Freeway using Form Setup
  • How to build a simple form that includes a title, a form field, and submit button
  • How to use two actions to stylize your form field to keep consistent with your websites design
  • What each of the options mean in those actions
  • Wrap up with entering in an email address and showing what happens next
